This is not the only expected and considerable market segment to change. This is also anticipated for adult incontinence articles, with a strong demand for pull-up pants, which allow for better mobility than open-tape diapers. The outlook is that globally, and across most regions, the moderate and heavy incontinence segment is expected to outgrow light incontinence from 2021 through 2026. As indicated in our research, the light incontinence segment is expected to see the largest gain in Western Europe and North America, “where key drivers include fundamental efficacy, dignity-assuring aesthetics, and growing awareness of incontinence among younger adults.”
