Primers for Composite Materials
Why use primers?
Primers are used when the adhesion to certain materials cannot be achieved directly due to surface energy or surface chemistry. The primer cleans the edge banding, foil, or composite substrate and evaporates off, leaving behind a good bonding layer. We develop primers that promote adhesion to:
- ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene)
- Anodized or painted aluminum
- Low quality vinyl
- PP (polypropylene)
- PVC (polyvinyl chloride)
- Specific recycled plastics
Additionally, our products are formulated to comply with regulatory guidelines and keep pace with the most demanding industry requirements, providing no intentionally added NEP, NMP, Pyrrolidone, Toluene, THF and PVC products within our new range of primer offerings.
