SIPs are one of the fastest growing offsite construction systems, and are becoming increasingly popular due to their sustainability and in-service performance credentials.
Our adhesives have been specially formulated for SIP manufacturing and installation, delivering the bonding strength and flexibility needed to create durable, high-performance building panels:
- Panel lamination: In the production of SIPs, adhesives are essential for bonding the panel’s insulating core to its facings. We have developed polyurethane lamination adhesives, specifically designed for the construction of SIPs and architectural panels. Our adhesives are proven to form strong weatherproof bonds between a wide range of materials, including OSB, plywood, aluminum, cement, steel, sheathing boards, mineral wool and polystyrene.
- Edge jointing: During SIP installation, adhesives and sealants play a critical role in providing airtight, moisture-resistant panel connections.
