Eternabond MicroSealant® Technology
EternaBond®, based on H.B. Fuller’s trademarked MicroSealant® technology, is one of the most trusted names in roof repair and quick sealing tapes. The products are available in various widths and thicknesses, from two inches to several feet wide, and adhere to almost any substrate found on a roof.
MicroSealant® Technology are specially formulated sealants that form a stable molecular structure that is light, heat, and ozone resistant. This formulation consists of synthetic polymers with a built-in primer and wide-temperature resistance that forms an instant bond to most substrates and creates a waterproof seal.
EternaBond® RoofSeal™
For use on virtually all roofs, RoofSeal™ incorporates the advanced Eternabond® MicroSealant® Technology and features a super flexible UV-stable backing. RoofSeal™ is a one-step, semi-permanent repair system for all roofs including EPDM, TPO, Hypalon, and all roof accessories. It creates a waterproof, moisture and airtight barrier. Available in white, black, tan and gray.
RoofSeal PLUS®, almost twice as thick as regular RoofSeal with 30 additional mils of Eternabond® MicroSealant® Technology, is specifically designed for granulated roofs or surfaces that require a deeper seal.
EternaBond® AlumiBond™
For use on roofs, walls, ductwork, floors, gravity tanks, troughs, etc., AlumiBond™ features a heavy duty 4 mil aluminum backing for applications that need extra strength. UV stable and moisture tight. The aluminum backing, combined with a layer of Eternabond® MicroSealant® Technology, creates an extremely durable surface.
EternaBond® WebSeal®
EternaBond® WebSeal® is a woven, reinforced fabric, coated with Eternabond® MicroSealant® Technology. It is designed to hold virtually all roof coatings, whether water-based or solvent-based. WebSeal® is a faster way to seal roofs, and perfect for bridging seams prior to application of roof coatings or liquid applied flashing systems.
WebSeal®’s “no memory” construction allows it to conform to many irregular surfaces in roofing applications, like screw heads, standing seams, gutters, and more.
EternaBond® DoubleStick™
EternaBond® is also available in a double-sided version, DoubleStick™ – a thick, 30 or 60 mil double-sided tape incorporating MicroSealant® Technology. DoubleStick™ makes a great repair on granulated modified bitumen or shingle roofing where color-matched granules can be sprinkled onto and rolled into the adhesive surface matching the existing roof.
Alternatively, DoubleStick™ can be used as a permanently flexible putty tape for waterproofing voids and around penetrations, prior to the installation of a structural sealing system.
EternaPrime™
EternaPrime™ is a specially formulated primer developed specifically for EternaBond® tapes. EternaPrime™ is used to simplify installation and creates a stable surface when:
• Installing EternaBond® tapes in low ambient temperatures from +40°F down to -20°F.• As a coalescing agent on surfaces with difficult to remove dirt or rust.
• Applying EternaBond® tapes to porous surfaces.
• Conditions which may encapsulate the EternaBond® tape, such as mortar joints.
