Junction Box Silicone Potting Compound

This solution for junction box potting improves the insulation grade of the J-box and the head dissipation while avoiding the risk of diode failure as a result of overheating, and ultimately reduces the overall cost. We offer the TONSAN 1521 and 1533 compounds for pv junction box potting, which greatly decrease the working temperature of the bypass diodes so as to increase the safety and reliability of the J-box.

Product characteristics of the silicone potting compound include the following:

  • Good thermal conductivity

Specifically, the 1521 potting compound for PV J-box is made of two component RTV silicone. It improves the insulation grade of the J-box and the heat dissipation, avoids the risk of diode failure as a result of overheating, and it can reduce the overall cost of J-box.

Alternatively, the 1533 potting compound for PV J-box is made of two component RTV silicone and provides environmental protection and thermal management with excellent fluidity and better flame retardancy.
