Increase your productivity with the combination of our Q-Set™ 250-750 Satellite Dish Post Setting Compound and our EZ Dig Power Auger. Use these two products together for quick and easy ground installation of satellite dish posts.  EZ Dig quickly powers through any soil condition, including rocky ground, to produce the perfect post hole in minutes. Q-Set 250 is a waterproof, two-part polyurethane composite backfill that expands to fill the peripheral void between a satellite dish post and the hole. It forms a high-strength composite that can structurally support the post and maintain its upright positioning. It expands immediately after mixing, reaches 50% of full strength in approximately 3 minutes and is fully cured in approximately 2 hours. The satellite dish and/or other attachments can be affixed to the post within 15 minutes.

  • Eliminates the time spent forming, pouring and curing reinforced concrete
  • Displays excellent adhesion to steel and galvanized steel posts
  • Q-Set 250 is an electrical insulator and its bond around a steel post reduces the risk of premature corrosion that occurs because of stray DC current in the earth
  • Because Q-Set 250 is hydrophobic (insensitive to water), the physical properties of the composite liquid, expanding and cured, will not be affected by wet soil or residual amounts of standing water in the hole. Standing water should not be more than 2” at the bottom of the hole.
