Catherine Huang, tracks market trends and connects closely with H.B. Fuller’s global and regional experts to turn Asian customers’ needs into meaningful innovation projects, and bring valuable frontend products into Asia Pacific. Catherine has thirteen years’ experience in the chemical industry, including around seven years in adhesives. Prior to this, she worked as a strategy consultant in the Roland Berger consulting firm. Catherine received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Management.

Mr. Tan Hock Hin has over 30 years of experience in the Hygiene industry covering both technical and commercial roles. Prior to his current role as Business Development Director at H.B. Fuller, Tan led the R&D department of a global hygiene producer with a base in Asia Pacific. Tan brings both in-depth material knowledge, industry insights and value as the head of the H.B. Fuller’s Hygiene Adhesive Business for South East Asia.

H.B. Fuller’s presentation will explore the trends in the adult incontinence market - the fastest growing hygiene segment. With the heightened awareness and social acceptance for a variety of health issues in Asia, the stigma associated with age-related incontinence is reducing promptly. Manufacturers of the absorbent hygiene products are expanding their adult incontinence product mix with thinner and more absorbent underwear-like products to satisfy unmet consumer needs in this highly competitive segment.

The presentation will also review adhesive innovations for the next generation product designs via Conforma™ super-soft enabling and stretchable adhesive, ODOGard® odor controlling technology, and next generation wetness indicator.
