H.B. Fuller and Adalis Packaging Solutions Featured at RosUpack 2012

Last month, H.B. Fuller and Adalis exhibited at RosUpack 2012, which was held June 18-22 in Moscow, Russia. It was the first time we exhibited at the show, which is the largest packaging event in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe.

With more than 700 exhibitor, 20,000 visitors and 20 conferences, workshops, roundtables and presentations, RosUpack was a big event that attracted many domestic and international leaders in the packaging industry.

Many of our customers were very pleased to see us at the show, and we were excited about the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the Russian market. It also was a great opportunity to showcase some of our most innovative packaging solutions.

Visitors were very interested in our flexible packaging products, including our Flextra^TM film laminating adhesives, which feature unique in-house polymer technology and include solvent-free and solvent-based adhesive systems. Our PVC dispersions for cardboard manufacturing also were a draw for show attendees.

Adalis received inquiries from both packaging makers and brand owners for its retail ready solutions. Retail ready packaging is becoming a trend in Russia, and at RosUpack, we had a chance to have some insightful discussions with members of ECR (Efficient Consumer Response), a movement for collaborative management along the supply chain. ECR’s focus is to encourage companies and trading partners to work together to create sustainable value for consumers and to effectively deliver the right products to consumers at the right price.

Shows like RosUpack give H.B. Fuller and Adalis a valuable opportunity to meet face-to-face with packaging professionals from around the world, generate ideas for future projects and better understand global customers’ evolving challenges and needs.
