Fuller Carlson will address the value of and recent advances in rapid curing adhesives and how the adhesives can help to minimize the time between laminating and filling, resulting in shorter times to a food-safe pouch. This benefit of speed is increasingly important to the flexible packaging industry, with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) driving awareness and standards that promote food safety.

At H.B. Fuller, our answer to the need for speed is our Flextra Fast™ SFA 8600/XR1500 solventless laminating adhesive. It allows converters to laminate up to 1800 feet per minute and brings speed to the entire process, including slitting, fitment application, pouch forming and safe filling. With Flextra Fast SFA 8600/XR1500, converters can begin secondary processing in a matter of hours. Flextra Fast SFA 8600/XR1500 also ensures PAA decay so laminates can be safely filled and shipped in as few as two days.

At H.B. Fuller, we rely on innovators like Carlson to develop solutions that address our customers’ packaging needs. We hope you have the opportunity to benefit from his insight by attending Global Pouch 2012. You can also contact us to learn more about our high performing flexible packaging adhesives.
