New Liquamelt Technology In Action at the International Poultry Expo 2012

Fuller is collaborating with two distributors to provide live demonstrations of our new innovative Liquamelt® packaging adhesive system at the International Poultry Expo 2012 January 23-27 in Atlanta. Attendees can stop by Bizerba USA Inc.’s booth #5855 or KEE-PAK, Inc’s booth #5652 to see the packaging industry’s first low density adhesive system deliver a cool, sustainable, on-demand, liquid rapid-set adhesive. Touted as the “coolest technology” introduced at PACK EXPO in September, Liquamelt demonstrations are a must-see for Expo attendees.

The Liquamelt system brings many advantages to the packaging market. This innovative adhesive is formulated with more than 40% sustainable raw materials and can deliver more than 50% mileage improvement, driving reduced cost and greater manufacturing efficiency. Without heated tanks and hoses, there is no char; energy is conserved; and the work environment is safer. The patented TurboActivator® technology heats, mixes, and processes Liquamelt adhesive on-demand just prior to dispensing through state-of-the-art H.B. Fuller fluid handling equipment, powered by Graco. Typical applications for Liquamelt include case and carton sealing, tray forming, paper assembly and as an alternative adhesive for many traditional hot melt applications.
