The H.B. Fuller booth was buzzing with activity on day one of PACK EXPO. The highlight of the day was at the PACK EXPO Innovation Stage, where we showcased our Flextra Quiet™ noise reducing laminating adhesive to a packed audience (standing room only!).
Our presentation, Taking the Noise Out of Compostable Flexible Packaging, revealed how H.B. Fuller collaborated with Frito-Lay and flexible packaging converter Bryce to help resolve the challenge of noisy sustainable flexible packaging.
Attendees discovered how innovative problem-solving and successful collaboration enabled H.B. Fuller to develop the groundbreaking Flextra Quiet technology. Now, PLA flexible packaging can meet the consumer’s desire for sustainability and a quiet package.
Brian Glasbrenner, who presented the story, also provided a demonstration of the difference between noisy lamination (which was heard even above the background noise of the show floor) and quiet lamination. The audience was very engaged and asked good questions after the presentation.
