With the Liquamelt Adhesive System, machine and adhesive work together, delivering a room temperature liquid dispersion to our patented Turboactivator™. The very compact inline Turboactivator™ is located just before the application gun and heat activates, mixes, and processes the liquid to form a robust hot foamed thermoplastic adhesive. The result is a cool on delivery hot on demand adhesive system that delivers high performance foam adhesive without the need for hot tanks, hot hoses, or expensive and complicated foaming aparatus. Liquamelt adhesive’s unique formulation makes it ideally suited for use on a wide variety of fiber substrates and its high molecular weight components coupled with the foaming action delivers natural mileage improvements of 50% or more without sacrficing adhesive performance. .
So why the clean sheet approach to packaging adhesives? The Liquamelt Adhesive System was specifically designed to eliminate many of the negatives associated with hot melt, such as charring, hot tanks and hoses, build up on production lines, messy clean-ups, and the danger of burns to users.
