Boldly Breaking Ground to Support Our Customers Around the World

Original post date: November 24th, 2010

H.B. Fuller recently announced that we have made yet another bold move and broken ground on a new $12 million manufacturing facility to support the expansion of our customers’ presence in India. Located near Mumbai in the city of Pune, we expect this facility to be operational by November 2011.

As one of the largest countries in the world and a huge market for our customers, India was the next logical step in a series of expansion initiatives H.B. Fuller has undertaken in EIMEA (Europe, India, Middle East, Africa). It reflects our commitment to the market and our dedication to our global customers, many of whom have an active presence in India today.

During the past several years, we have expanded through acquisitions in Egypt, Germany and Malaysia, strengthening our ability to provide the innovative adhesives and knowledgeable technical service our customers need to grow and prosper wherever their business takes them. We also established a regional technology center in Shanghai, China, and a manufacturing facility in Nanjing, the first facility of its kind in the Asia Pacific market focused on reactive technologies.

H.B. Fuller is very enthusiastic about our expansion into India and the opportunity to work in even closer proximity with our customers currently doing business in India and those that will soon expand into the region. We look forward to seeing our new facility flourish.
