Last week, H.B. Fuller and our subsidiary partner Adalis™ came together to showcase our complete package of solutions for the EIMEA packaging market at the Emballage 2010 exhibition in Paris. Drawing an estimated 85,000 visitors and 1,300 exhibitors from 95 countries, Emballage provided us with a premier opportunity to connect with manufacturers from across the broad spectrum of packaging sectors and collaborate on ways to improve their products and processes.
In our stand, we met with many attendees who were intrigued by our ability to deliver complete solutions to enhance the functionality of their packaging, help differentiate their products and overcome their problems. From advanced adhesives for case and carton sealing, flexible packaging and bottle labeling to innovative solutions for side seaming, packaging reinforcement and retail ready opening systems, H.B. Fuller’s wide range of solutions connected with attendees looking for proven solutions and fresh ideas.
For case and carton sealing, we highlighted our Advantra™ and Clean Melt™ families of hot melt adhesives that provide superior thermal stability and adhesion while dramatically reducing downtime and preserving packaging integrity. Our LiquiLoc™ bottle labeling adhesives formulated using unique, in-house polymer technology caught the eye of manufacturers looking for proven performance for their beer, wine and soft drink products. Our Clarity™ container labeling hot melts have the adhesion and strength required for even the most demanding roll-fed or cut and stack applications.
For flexible packaging, our full portfolio of solvent based and solventless Flextra™ adhesive technologies allow laminators to solve the challenges presented in this dynamic market. The diversity of our product line has the breadth and depth to handle nearly every conceivable substrate combination, end-use performance and lamination speeds.
Adalis’ packaging solutions provided the finishing touches with cost-effective, fully integrated reinforcement and opening systems designed to create better functionality in boxes, optimal performance and more sustainable packaging. Adalis’ Sesame™ reinforcement systems add strength to critical stress areas of a box, allowing for reduced board weight and final package cost without sacrificing performance. The Open-Sesame system creates easy access to package contents while maintaining brand image.
