H.B. Fuller provides adhesives, sealants, and coatings for the manufacture of other, more familiar brand-name merchandise. We create products you’ve maybe never heard of, but that are used in the essentials you’d rather not live without.
Your day probably begins and ends with us. Your cereal box, refrigerator, laundry detergent box, automobile, your baby’s disposable diaper, all require products we manufacture. Just about everywhere you look--even the windows you see through and the magazines you read--you’ll find manufactured goods using adhesives, sealants, or coatings produced by H.B. Fuller.
Sometimes our behind-the-scenes products are virtually invisible. By incorporating microparticles into packaging adhesives, for example, H.B. Fuller offers technology for corporations to deter counterfeiters from distributing bogus products. That means you get the brand-name merchandise you paid for.
With more than a hundred years of industry experience, today H.B. Fuller leverages its knowledge to provide “total solutions,” delivering integrated products, services, knowledge, and capabilities that add value not only for our direct customers, but for end users. Our role as a solutions provider is made possible through a comprehensive understanding of our customers and their needs.
Today, H.B. Fuller is also the leader in the chemical industry in implementing its e-business strategy, with a large portion of buying and selling transactions having been converted to our e-stores.
Founded in 1887, H.B. Fuller manufactures and markets specialty chemicals used in thousands of formulations, and hundreds of thousands of applications worldwide. The company has direct operations in 34 countries in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Distributors and licensees increase H.B. Fuller’s presence to more than 100 countries.
H.B. Fuller is headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., and employs 4,500 people. Global sales totaled $1.41 billion in 2004. Common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol FUL.
Our 225,000 square foot Research and Development facility, also located in St. Paul, Minn., is staffed by more than 120 chemists and engineers grouped by industry and technology.
